Powder for solution injection.

COMPOSITION
- 1 vial with powder contains:
 Ceptiofur sodium…...…5 g (active).
- 1 vial in 100 ml with solvent.
 
INDICATIONS
Poultry: Special Treatment of disease usually occurs at an early early mortality due to E.Coli, pasteurellosis, Riemerella anatipestifer (duck), pneumonia, CRD in chickens, quails. 
Cattle and lactating dairy cattle: shipping fever, pneumonia associated with Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Haemophilus somnus.foot rot, pododermatitis associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus.
Horses: respiratory infections in horses associated with Streptococcus zooepidemicus.
Pigs: respiratory disease (swine bacterial pneumonia) associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida.
Lambs: pneumonia associated with Mannheimia haemolytica.
Dogs: For the treatment of canine urinary tract infections associated with Escherichia coli and Proteus mirabilis.
 
 ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Reconstitute the solution for injection by adding the whole content of the solvent in 100 ml
vial. After reconstitution, shake the vial well before use
The reconstituted solution contains 50 mg of Ceftiofur in 1 ml.
Poultry (ducks): I.M. or S.C. injection: 1mL/10 kg of b.w/day (10 mg Ceftiofur/2kg b.w).
Chicken, duckling, quails: S.C. injection. 2 ml/90 ml of distilled water or NaCl 0.9% (making liquid solution), and inject 0.1 ml/head of chickens, one-day-old ducklings.
Turkeys: one-day-old poults, S.C injection, 1ml the reconstituted + 20 ml distilled water or NaCl 0.9%, and inject 0,1ml/head.
Cattle and Lactating Dairy Cattle: 1.0 mL/50 kg b.w/24 hours, in 3-5 days repeated.
Horses: 2.0 mL/50 kg b.w/24 hours.
Pigs: 1 mL/ per 17 kg b.w/every 24 hours for a total of 3 treatments.
Lambs: 1 mL/25 kg/ 24 hour in 3-5 days. Dogs: 1 mL/25 kg/ 24 hour intervals for 5 - 14 days.
 
STORAGE
Store in a cool and dry place. Avoid direct sunlight.
 
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: Cattle: 8 days; Pigs: 5 days; Poultry: 4 days.
Milk: Nil.
